Stretchies By Judith

Check out this great Jewlery designed for people with hand injuries - beautiful and easy to put on and off! I met Judith from www.stretchiesbyjudith.com in Orlando at the International Hand Conference - she is a true artist!

Here is some information about Judith

I want to produce attractive, functional jewelry for women. My jewelry is more production oriented so that I can create pieces that are fun, funky and affordable as well as serving a niche area of need for those of you who require a little more assistance when adorning your fashions. Arthritis sufferers are especially targeted for my designs since I, myself, suffer from Arthritis.

Retiring in Florida, I soon realized there was a need for functional jewelry that was easy to put on and take off. With age, fingers become larger, smaller, and sometimes grow 'knobs' formed by different diseases.

Rings must be adjusted by a jeweler to add or subtract material in order for the ring to fit properly. This adjustment is costly and may also be an interim solution. A ring that fits in the morning may not fit well in the evening due to temperature and environmental issues. Hence came my large functional stretch ring collection.

Also, fingers are sometimes less deft or become so with age or disability. Having a coil bracelet and choker necklace design that doesn't require assistance to close, such as is sometimes the problem with lobster claws and toggle closures, was my goal for my functional coil bracelet and choker jewelry.

Using an "easy on, easy off" approach to functional jewelry design, women can now get dressed by themselves. My coil bracelets and chokers eliminate the need for a 'honey-do' helper.
